1. Acceptance of Terms

By using EstateLawAssist.com (“the Site”) or engaging our legal support services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Scope of Services

EstateLawAssist.com provides documentation, advisory assistance, and guidance for property-related legal processes. We are not a law firm. All information and materials are for general support purposes and do not constitute formal legal advice.

3. User Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate, complete, and lawful information when engaging our services. Unauthorized use or distribution of materials or templates is prohibited.

4. Intellectual Property

All site content, designs, and documents are owned by or licensed to EstateLawAssist.com. No material may be copied, distributed, or modified without written consent.

5. Payment Terms

All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and must be paid in full before commencement of service. Secure third-party gateways are used for payment processing. Users are responsible for maintaining valid payment details.

6. Refund and Return Policy

Refunds are assessed according to the product or service category and are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days once approved.

A. Services (Consultations, Legal Assistance, Document Review)

Refund requests must be made within 7 calendar days of payment or at least 48 hours before the scheduled consultation or review, whichever is earlier.
Clients may reschedule once without charge if notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.
Completed consultations and document reviews are non-refundable as they involve professional time and expertise.
Partial refunds may be considered only if a session could not be delivered due to provider-side issues.

B. Digital Products (Templates, Guides, Contract Samples)

Due to instant access, digital products are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.
If a file is corrupted or inaccessible, contact our support team within 7 days for replacement or alternate delivery.
Customers are encouraged to review product descriptions before purchase to ensure compatibility.

C. Physical Goods (Printed Kits, Hard Copies of Documents)

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery if the item is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item was defective or incorrectly sent.
Refunds are processed after inspection and confirmation that return criteria are met.

D. Non-Refundable Items

Customized property agreements, due diligence reports, and personalized consultations are non-refundable due to the specialized effort and professional resources involved. Once delivered, they cannot be resold or reused.

7. Cancellations by EstateLawAssist

If we cancel or postpone a scheduled service, you may choose to receive a full refund or reschedule at no extra charge.

8. Limitation of Liability

All information and tools are provided “as is.” EstateLawAssist.com does not guarantee legal outcomes or transaction success. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from use of our services or materials.

9. Privacy

We protect client information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how data is collected, processed, and retained.

10. Compliance

We comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where relevant, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Clients remain responsible for compliance with their local jurisdiction’s requirements when using our materials.

11. Modifications

EstateLawAssist.com may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site after publication of revised Terms indicates acceptance of the new version.
